Tangible property licensing
The Tangible Property Licensing group at UChicagoTech is very experienced in marketing and licensing tangible property developed at the University of Chicago. Tangible property is often not suited for patent protection, however such materials are valuable commodities which can sometimes be licensed to for-profit entities. Examples of such tangible property include hybridomas that produce monoclonal antibodies, transgenic animals and novel cell lines. If you have developed material such as this in your lab or have been contacted by a company that is interested in acquiring material produced in your lab, please contact Thelma Tennant.
