To aid the process of evolving basic insights and programs into licensable assets that can attract external funding, UChicagoTech is actively developing an informal network of experts, and more formal advisory panels that meet regularly to review our pipeline, specializing in the following domains:
- Clinical development (regulatory, toxicology, trial design, manufacturing, project management)
- Medicinal chemistry
- Biologics
- Medical Devices
- Diagnostics and Instrumentation
- Information Technology
- CleanTech
In parallel, UChicagoTech is actively developing external communities of expertise in market areas (e.g. oncology, medical informatics), and promoting forums in which those interested in scientific innovation, product development, and entrepreneurship can interact (e.g. see Innovation Workshop Series).
This advisory infrastructure will work in partnership with the Chicago Innovation Fund.
