Teana Stocco joined UChicagoTech in August, 2005 as a Project Coordinator. She was promoted to Senior Project Coordinator and eventually to Manager, Project and Office Coordination. In Teana’s current role, she supervises the Office Coordinator, Senior Project Coordinators, and Project Coordinators. She also acts as a liaison between the Administrative, Project Management, and Executive Teams.
In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Teana supports Project Manager Benjamin Dibling and Director Alan Thomas with their patent and license portfolios. She also manages UChicagoTech’s relationships with several University and non-University organizations including University Research Administration, the University of Chicago Investment Office, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the National Institutes of Health. Teana has active roles in space planning, patent budgeting, attorney compliance, as well as overall office administration.
Prior to joining UChicagoTech, Teana worked for several law firms in the areas of litigation, personal injury, and employment law.
Teana received her B.S. in Legal Studies from Grand Valley State University in 1992, and a law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2002. Teana resides in the near west suburbs with her husband and three daughters.
