Sean Sheridan joined UChicagoTech as an Associate Project Manager in April 2008. His responsibilities include technology evaluation, marketing, and licensing at the University of Chicago. As an Associate Project Manager, Sean works closely with Project Managers and Project Coordinators on activities ranging from patent management to start-up ventures.
Before joining UChicagoTech, Sean was a graduate student in the Committee on Genetics (now the Committee on Genetics, Genomics and Systems Biology) at the University of Chicago. His research was focused on the biochemistry of homologous recombination. He has published articles in journals such as Genes and Development, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Nucleic Acids Research.
Sean holds a B.S. in Biology from Appalachian State University and a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Chicago. He grew up in New York and North Carolina.
