Nina Paciotti joined the UChicagoTech office in December 2008. Her role is to support the office’s translational efforts in Marketing and Business Development, and provide insight into industry’s perspective on investment in new products and technologies. Her responsibilities include creating commercial assessments of markets and product concepts, and cultivation and management of corporate contacts that may further the University’s translational goals.
Nina has over 20 years of experience in the corporate healthcare industry, in both scientific and business roles. Her experience includes delivering commercial and product design strategies for pharmaceutical, diagnostic and medical device products in several medical specialty areas, with a focus on early product development. She has served as a Senior Consultant at Giles & Associates (Lake Forest, Illinois), Director of Strategic Planning and Analytics at American Pharmaceutical Partners (Schaumberg, Illinois), Director of Marketing at Miravant Medical Technologies (Santa Barbara, California), Product Manager for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at Inamed (Santa Barbara, California), and Research and Global Marketing roles at Ortho Diagnostic Systems/Johnson & Johnson (Carpinteria, California).
Nina has a B.A. in Microbiology and English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from California Lutheran University.
